Audio Description / Described Video
Audio Description, also referred to as a Video Description, Described Video, or more precisely visual description, is a form of narration used to provide information surrounding key visual elements in a media work for the benefit of blind and visually impaired consumers.
The first step to achieving an enjoyable and helpful audio description is a well written script. Our script writers are well trained and strictly follow DV best practices.
Next step is selecting an appropriate voice for description. If your preference is human voice, we can provide a trained male or female voice talent for English or French narration. If you go with a more cost-effective solution, you can choose from a variety of naturally sounding, AI generated (Synthetic) voices in many different languages and dialects. Our use of Synthetic voices complies with responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Subtitles and Closed Captioning
From a simple transcript to Subtitles with or without SHD to Closed Captioning, we cover it all. Our team of offline captioners will be more than happy to assist in creating any of the timed text requirements for your project. We generally follow Netflix style guide but can execute any required specifications of captions of subtitles.
